Arkansas Building Services is a professional commercial janitorial service owned and operated in North Little Rock with Branch Operations in Russellville and Searcy. We have serviced commercial facilities throughout Central Arkansas since 2008.

We are a drug-free workplace and perform pre-hire and during employment drug screening. Also, a clear background check is required to be considered for employment with ABS.

We are seeking reliable Janitorial Day Cleaners for a commercial facility in  Little Rock.
Workdays scheduled are possibly flexible, but one weekend day will be required. Please mark which days you are available.
The hours are from 9 am to 7 pm. Overtime will be paid time and a half.

Pay will begin at $11.00 per hour, and could quickly increase based on an applicant's work performance, self-presentation, attendance, attitude of, and attitude on the job, among other factors.

The cleaner will be working around our customer's employees and customers.
Cell phone use must be kept to a minimum during work hours.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
General office & retail cleaning including, but not limited to:
  • disinfecting & cleaning display fixtures and kiosks
  • trash removal including taking trash to the dumpster and breaking down boxes
  • window cleaning
  • picking up trash outside
  • sweeping and mopping floors
  • vacuuming
  • cleaning and restocking restrooms and break rooms

APPLICANTS REQUIREMENTS TO BE CONSIDERED
- Must be reliable, responsible, and a self-starter
- Show stable day-job work history
- Good communication (verbal and written) skills
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Must be neat and cleanly dressed and groomed.
- Background and drug screening are required.


ABS will train the employee on the proper guidelines, procedures, and the proper use of chemicals and equipment during the initial training and on an ongoing basis. Employees are expected to follow these guidelines and procedures as outlined. ABS provides all equipment, chemicals, and supplies to perform the job.
